Prosecution of gender-based violence is one of the key responsibilities of each national prosecution authority in the Eastern Africa Region. The GBVN is a network of the EAAP prosecutors engaged in the prosecution of gender based violence cases in its varied forms. This network will enhance discourse and sharing of information on national experiences in tackling this ever present challenge in society.
