The Advanced Level workshop represented the third phase of the EAAP–EU ACT capacity-building programme focusing on Joint Investigation Teams as a strategic tool for combating organised crime.
Building on the earlier training phases, participants examined operational coordination of JITs, financial investigations and cross-border prosecutorial collaboration.
The programme brought together prosecutors from several Eastern African jurisdictions to enhance regional cooperation and strengthen institutional responses to complex transnational criminal networks.
