The Advanced Phase Workshop held in Victoria, Mahé, Seychelles from 23rd –25th February 2026 focused on the operational use of Joint Investigation Teams alongside MLA in complex transnational investigations, including financial crime, electronic evidence, and cryptocurrencies.
The training was opened by EUROJUST Vice President José de la Mata, alongside EAAP and EU-ACT representatives. Sessions were delivered by experts including Laura-Florina Bisog (Eurojust), Maria Zeizinger (EUROPOL), Morgan Martin, Marta Altea Díaz Galindo, and Captain Mirko Guarriello, addressing emerging challenges in organised crime investigations.
